Sunlight causes the skin to produce vitamin D, which plays an important role in the body and offers many health benefits. Too much sun exposure is harmful, though. It can have even cause skin cancer.
Skin cancer can be deadly. Luckily, it is preventable. You can prevent skin cancer by limiting sun exposure, avoiding midday sun and tanning beds, and wearing sunscreen (SPF 30+) when outdoors.
