While driving above the speed limit, Al Gore’s son, Al Gore III, was pulled over by police and then arrested on suspicion of possession. This was the second time he was charged in four years for having marijuana in his car. Gore was driving his Toyota Prius on the San Diego Freeway at 100 mph when a sheriff deputy stopped him. He allegedly smelled marijuana which he found in the vehicle along with two prescription bottles of Valium, Vicodin, Xanax, and Adderall. He was booked into the Santa Ana Inmate Reception Center and bail was set at $20,000.
