While drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol, Nick Nolte’s son, Brawley, ran into another car. He was arrested in 2009 on the Pacific Coast Highway when he made a lane change hitting another vehicle. Nolte was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. The police did not specify which controlled substance he was accused of taking. He was freed after posting $5,000 bail. This wasn’t the first time he was arrested. Nolte also pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence in 2012. He was sentenced to three years probation, including mandatory counseling and drug testing.
